She is now leveraging her experience in marketing, design, and technology to develop creative and innovative strategies to increase revenues, build brands, launch new lines of business, and bring value to shareholders and stakeholders.

Most recently, Randels was Vice President and Head of Worldwide Mobile Sales for Akamai Technologies, the industry leader in content delivery, where she was responsible for worldwide sales of the mobile platform. She came to Akamai when they acquired Velocitude, a mobile web platform company where she served as Executive President of Sales and Marketing. There she launched the company's go-to-market strategy and channel initiatives, building a sales organization that resulted in dramatic growth and was acquired just thirteen months after their launch.

Previously, Randels served as CEO and founder of NewMarket Partners, a startup accelerator that is focused on the development of emerging technology and professional services companies. Today, Randels still serves as Chairman of NewMarket Partners, where her vision, strategy and leadership skills ensured the company's growth and its success in launching subsidiaries focused on security, fraud, and computer forensics.

Randels was recruited as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations & Chief Marketing Officer for Clearcube Technologies as the point-person in a venture capital led a turnaround effort. She restructured all customer related aspects of the business, moving from a direct sales to 100% channel model and separating the software and hardware divisions, a project that led to the spinoff of VDI Works.  Randels also developed a bi-directional OEM agreement with VMware and won the "Best Desktop Virtualization" award at VMWORLD 2007 - over VMware's own entry.

Before Clearcube Randels was Chief Operating Officer at Highwall Technologies, an early pioneer in the Wi-Fi and cellular security space.  She launched and grew the brand worldwide through a multi-channel sales strategy. She developed an award winning channel and services provider program leading to the company's sale to HP.  Prior to Highwall, Randels was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Business Layers where she forged new business practices and delivered the necessary revenue to position the company as the dominant player in identity management.  She accomplished this through the development and execution of a strategic plan securing top clients in the Global 5000, while establishing strategic partnerships with leading vendors, practice leaders, systems integration partners, and executing OEM agreements to expand market reach with new fulfillment channels. Business Layers was acquired by Netegrity, which was subsequently acquired by CA Technologies.

Previous to joining Business Layers, Randels served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at CA Technologies, leading efforts when CA restructured and launched it's eTrust business unit.
