Marcus Williams, Senior Vice President - Corporate Development

Mr. Williams oversees ISC8's M&A; activities along with other strategic corporate development projects. Mr. Williams previously served on the ISC8 Board of Directors, on the Compensation and GovernanceCommittees, and stepped down from that position to join senior management of ISC8.  Mr. Williams brings over 15 years of experience to ISC8 in a variety of M&A;, strategic finance and legal roles.

He was most recently Vice President of Transactions and Development with Tech Team Global, Inc., a role he assumed after serving as Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Williams also served a similar role for TechTeam subsidiaries domestically and internationally, including TechTeam Government Solutions, Inc., a provider of classified IT services to agencies of the United States government.  Mr. Williams led the sale of both TechTeam Government Solutions, Inc. and TechTeam Global, Inc., with both transactions closing in late 2010.

Prior to joining TechTeam, was an Attorney, then a Shareholder, in the Transactions & Finance Practice Group of the law firm of Butzel Long, PC. In his law practice, Williams represented public company boards of directors, entrepreneurs, founders and senior management teams in the IT industry, in a wide array of merger, acquisition and financing transactions, as well as in governance and securities matters. Mr. Williams began his career as a tax consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, then as a real estate and transactional lawyer representing governmental entities and development authorities in urban development and renewal projects.

Williams earned his BBA degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and his JD degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
